It all began on July 30th, 2020. We met for the first time through mutual friends, going out for a drink in Heraklion. Nothing specific happened that night, nothing was said that could define what was about to follow—yet, somehow, everything began. What started as a simple friendship slowly grew into something much deeper. In the months that followed, our connection evolved into a relationship built on a strong foundation of friendship. We spent countless moments together, with friends in both Athens and Patras, creating memories that would quietly shape our story. We traveled back and forth, always finding ways to see each other, no matter the distance. What we shared was something neither of us was ready to fully admit at first—but it became impossible to ignore. We were no longer just two friends. We felt the pull to become something more, something lasting. A bond that distance could not break—only strengthen. No matter the miles between us, we always found a way to stay close, to support one another, and to choose each other every single day.

The proposal took place during our unforgettable trip to the Maldives—a place as beautiful and timeless as the moment itself. On February 1st, our journey took its most meaningful step forward. It wasn't just a proposal; it was the beginning of forever. In that moment, everything became clear: we were meant to spend our lives together, writing our story side by side.
